TFN MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

In order to become a Member of the Toronto FreeNet, you must agree to the conditions in the following Membership Agreement:

In consideration for my being granted membership in the Toronto FreeNet (TFN) and for use of the Toronto FreeNet System (the System), I understand and agree to the following:

My use of the system and participation in the TFN will comply with all by-laws of the TFN and rules, regulations and directions made by the Board of Directors of the TFN (the Board) or its authorized delegates. [By-laws are available online under the menu item, About the Toronto FreeNet].
Membership in the TFN and use of the System is a privilege which may be revoked by the Board at any time and for any reason, without notice and without recourse on my part.
My use of the System is at my risk, and the TFN accepts no responsibility for the performance or non-performance of the System, nor liability for any loss caused by the performance or non-performance of the System.
The TFN accepts no responsibility for my use of the System or my actions as a member of the TFN. I agree to indemnify the TFN and its Board for any claims against the TFN or its Board arising from my use of the system or my actions as a member of the TFN.
The TFN accepts no responsibility or liability for information provided on or through the System. Information provided on the System is not a substitute for adequate professional consultation, nor does my use of the system or any information provided on it create any professional or client relationship.
The TFN retains the right, but not the obligation, to review any information stored by me on the System, and to delete but not modify any information which the TFN, in its sole discretion, determines should not be stored on the System.
This agreement may be relied upon by the TFN, its Board, and any person providing information on or through the System.
